About Us

STEAMKits.ie was founded by a team of experienced primary school teachers from Co. Kilkenny, who were frustrated by the lack of engaging STEAM resources aligned with the new curriculum. We were also concerned about the continuous need to supply materials ourselves or ask students to bring their own, which often resulted in waste and additional expenses.

We carefully selected and sourced materials and resources to engage, challenge, and excite students, making STEAM lessons more enjoyable for both students and teachers. Our no-prep, low-tech, reusable STEAM Kits allow teachers to simply select a lesson from our manual, provide students with the reusable objects, and conduct hands-on activities without relying on websites or screens.
